Who we are

The Focused Woman Collective is operated by Moderari Studio. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean Moderari Studio, the data controller responsible for your personal information.

What information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide our services:

• Your name and email address — when you purchase a course or sign up to our mailing list. This is required to deliver your course emails and send you updates you've opted in to.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe may retain a transaction record, which is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Email engagement data — our email provider (SendFox) records whether you've opened emails or clicked links, so we can understand what content is useful. We use this only to improve what we send you.

How we use your information

• To deliver your course emails each day after purchase
• To send you updates about new courses and sessions you've opted in to
• To respond to questions or requests you send us
• To improve our content based on aggregate engagement data

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use it for advertising.

Our lawful basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following bases:

• Contract — processing your name and email to deliver a course you've purchased
• Legitimate interest — sending updates about new courses and sessions to people who have already bought from us or explicitly signed up to hear from us
• Consent — where we ask for it explicitly, such as our mailing list sign-up

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run the Collective. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — secure payment processing. stripe.com/gb/privacy
• SendFox — email delivery and list management. sendfox.com/privacy
• Notion — course content hosting. notion.so/privacy

How long we keep your data

We keep your email address and name for as long as you're subscribed to hear from us, or for as long as needed to fulfil your course access. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we'll do so within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep records.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
